INCH TAPES: Standard tapes are manufactured with a 1/4" wide Vernier Gage, a 1/2" wide Main Body and a 1/4" wide Gage Member. The standard thickness is .010" with an accuracy of +/- .005" up to 120".
METRIC TAPES: Standard tapes are manufactured with a 6.35mm wide Vernier Gage, a 12.7mm wide Main Body and a 6.35mm wide Gage Member. The standard thickness is .25mm with an accuracy of ± .2mm up to 3000mm.
